[http://www.statsvn.org/ StatSVN] retrieves information from a Subversion repository and generates various tables and charts describing the project development, e.g. timeline for the lines of code, contribution of each developer etc.

It is indeed an interesting tool to evaluate roughly the wrinting performance of a PHD on his articles or to understand how much a student is working on a project!! :D
